Why do we have the choice between belief and disbelief in God?
Why do we have the choice between belief and disbelief in God?
No proof, no evidence, no index, no solid argument for the existence or non existence of God. All depends on your own personal convictions. You are forced to deliver the choice before your miserable death. You might make the choice during your life as many do. Many make the choice very early in their teen age.In this lies the freedom and dignity as well as the value of a human being.
Nietzsche and Leibniz, although having completely the opposite views with regard to God, they both made their choice very early in their teens, between 13 and 15. While both looking at the same phenomena the universe they made up their convictions to have opposite beliefs.
Nietzsche completely rejected the existence of God militating all his life to eradicate the idea of God in the minds and hearts of the people. He looked into the universe and concluded that there is no creator and the real creator of the universe is chaos, hazard, chance and coincidence.
He proclaimed that there is no order and no laws that govern the universe and hence no harmony and no creator.
He hated God and was a militant atheist all his miserable life. He lost his mind at 46 for the last ten years of his stinking life and died (mad like his father before him) a militant atheist. He was an militant atheist from the age of thirteen and dedicated his life to proof that God does not exist.
Leibniz, on the other hand, looked into the universe, the same and exact phenomena, like Nietzsche and everyone else, and concluded that God is a primordial priority for the creation and existence of the universe. He saw in the universe absolute control and order. He deduced the necessity for laws controlling the universe.
He concluded his observations that at the core of everything there must be God who deliberates and ordains everything. Order and laws are the creation of God. He rejected completely the role of chance, hazard and chaos in the universe.
Everything, to him, runs in schedule and according to a master plan and master program that limits everything to the command of God. God ordains creation from nothing by an act of His will and modulates everything and controls everything by an act of His will. No one, to Leibniz, can ever change the plan of God or interfere in its execution.
He was a believer all his life and died as a believer, dedicating his life to proof His existence.
Nietzsche and Leibniz are examples par excellence for disbelief and belief in God. They are arch-syndromes and ultimate models of belief and disbelief. They represent the thinking of nearly every human being among the seven billions of individuals existing today in our world.
Having the choice between belief and disbelief in God is the ultimate decision of a human being, adult and sane. This choice is inevitable and an obligatory one during man's life. Death seals the choice.
Life and our life cycle with its good and evil, our mind as an adjudicator between the two and our free will implies strongly another life where the results of our work in this short and transitory life are to be worked out and succinctly so.
Those who believe in God and the last day and perform good deeds shall be rewarded by felicity and those who disbelieved in God, representing the ultimate evil doing that man can perform shall be punished by hell fire.
In fact, lack of proof or disproof for God, stakes our life and our complete existence on this planet.
So make your choice!
